From January 2022 RES CLUSTER is the official host of the Enterprise Europe Network in Bulgaria.
The Enterprise Europe Network (EEN) is the European Commission’s main tool for implementing policies to support small and medium-sized businesses in Europe. EEN aims to increase the competitiveness of small and medium-sized enterprises by providing integrated consulting services in the field of technology transfer, innovation and business development.
The network started its activities in 2008 and is currently represented by over 600 organizations in 66 countries.
The network EEN – Bulgaria обединява unites 12 organisation in Sofia, Burgas, Varna, Gabrovo, Ruse, Stara Zagora and Plovdiv.
The network offers the following services:
- support SMEs in creating new international partnerships with excellent growth potential by providing direct access to the largest database of business, technology and research cooperation;
- support for participation in international conferences, trade exhibitions and missions and bilateral business meetings in Europe and third parties;
- organizing training and providing advice on: European legislation and standards; entering the international market; intellectual property protection; funding opportunities under European programs and alternative sources; technology transfer and other topics of interest to SMEs;
- consulting and support for innovative SMEs on research and innovation funding programs, innovation management and successful commercialization of innovative products.
As one of the organizations in EEN – Bulgaria, our goal is to work to achieve conditions for the sustainable development of clean energy production and its effective management and consumption in Bulgaria. Our efforts are aimed at maintaining the European Union’s environmental protection policies, facilitating the transition to a green economy and minimizing climate risks. In connection with the national priorities and the new regulatory requirements for the energy business sector in Bulgaria, RES Cluster promotes the development and introduction of innovations in the RES and EE sector.
